An insight into the BRC standard


Issue 7 of the BRC Global Standard for food safety was published in January 2015 and is been audited against since July 2015.

This 1 day awareness course gives Technical and Quality staff from manufacturing an insight into how the BRC standard should be implemented.

The course content includes the following:

  • Background and benefits of the Standard.
  • Layout of the standard.
  • Requirements of the standard with emphasis on the 12 Fundamental requirements and the statements of intent.
  • Understanding new requirements such as VACCP in relation to Supplier Control
  • Audit protocol and options

A comprehensive course manual will be provided and a certificate of attendance will be issued.
